Maybe to add it into the 1st OSD screen would be cool to, for people without beltbar. Do you know other systems with more than 1 player on one device? (I'm not talking about serial link yet...) Maybe Genesis? Were there any turn by turn games for that system? I can't think of any.

Aren't there some gameboy games that do two player (non-serial)? -But I guess those ones allow you to trade off in-game since there's only one set of controls.
Does Genesis or Mastersystem allow multiple player games? I can't see any of the others doing it (except maybe the VCS)

Genesis and Master System had 2 controller ports.
Most likely Atari 2600 had as well, but I can't say for sure snce I never owned one.

The question is whether they had multiplayer games where only one player played at a time; all the games I can think of for those devices were either single player or true multiplayer.

I'm pretty sure I had one or two Genesis games that did that, but can't remember now.

From a look into the source: * SMS/GG seems to support 2 players * VCS seems to support it * GEN could support up to 3 controllers, I would implement 2

I can't remember any accessories that would give the Genesis a third controller...

But there is a third input port in the emulation.

Go to my blog and redownload the latest LJP. In NES and SNES the Reset-button of the Beltbar is used to switch the player. erm...I may sound like an ultra noob but I just joined the "havership" of ljp and uh... when u download a new version of little john pam do u just replace the ljp program or what?

no, you replace ljp.prc PLUS all the .zem files on your card. The .zem files are the actual emulators and the .prc is the front-end launcher.
Also, on some version upgrades you will want to delete all the .ini files (ljp.ini and any ini files in <emulator>/roms/).

Usually you shouldn't need to delete the ini files when I make an update. I try to avoid it.

I will use real .ini files for the configurations in LJX, so that shouldn't cause any binary compatibility problems.

Actually, I've noticed that sometimes it won't even display when I Set it on before a launch. The FPS battery and time still display though, so I didn't really care. I can also still hit the buttons, so I assume that it just doesn't draw the buttons

Thanks for your reply. After some more fiddling around, I have LJP running. I followed a hybrid of your instructions, and the Palm Centro specific instructions at the LJP forums (http://yoyofr.proboards44.com/index....ead=1193096918)
Specifically, I did the following (and it involves running LJPr9, and connecting the microSD card to a card reader): 1). Download LJPr9 from the forum I linked above (save to computer) 2). Connect microSD card to card reader and do the following (modified slightly from a post at this link (http://yoyofr.proboards44.com/index....ead=1107427583)
Create the following directory if it's not already present: Card>/Palm/Programs/
Create an LJP directory there (so you now have Card>/Palm/Programs/LJP) Copy all the .zem files into this directory. Copy LJP.prc there.
Put the SD card back in your Centro, and run LJP. (Note/warning: at this point, don't hit the 5-way navigation button while running LJP, because it will cause the program to crash and reset the phone. Don't ask me why that's the case, it's just my experience. I recommend starting LJP, then exiting it once it finishes loading; this will be enough to continue the installation).
Take the card back out, put it back in your card reader, and go back to the LJP folder. You should have the following subfolders: GB GENZ GG NES
Each one of these will have a Roms and Saves subfolder. Your zipped or unzipped ROMs for the appropriate platform go in the appropriate Roms folder. Save states and SRAM files will be created in the Saves folder. Game-specific settings saved in <romname>.ini files will also be created in the Roms folder. LJP.ini (the default global settings) will be created in the LJP folder.
Now, copy your roms (zipped, or unzipped) into the appropriate "Roms" folder. Reinsert the card into the Centro and run LJP again. You should see the Roms are now present in LJP. Also, the 5-way navigation button should work without causing a crash (again, I can't explain "why," this was just my experience). Finally, go to the configuration and re-map the controller buttons to your preference (I used the 5-way for mapping the NES D-pad, and the bottom buttons for A and B). You should now be ready to roll.
I hope this helps any other Centro-ers looking to run LJP. It's a great program once the installation is finished, and greatly increases the fun factor of the Centro.
i saw this forum. what does it mean by "Create an LJP directory there (so you now have Card>/Palm/Programs/LJP) Copy all the .zem files into this directory. Copy LJP.prc there." how and where do you create that ? help please !

You will put the card in a card reader, and it will appear in your PC as a removable disk. Then you just navigate to the /Palm/Programs folder, and create a new folder there, just as you'd do with your HD or whatever.

No problem . Just configure the controls and the problem will probably go away. Also make sure that it is 1.2.

I have have the same problem., and reconfiguring the controls didn't help. Although on my centro, all the buttons lock, and only the touchscreen works. i have to use the side button to exit. i'm using 1.2.

Are there any systems with roms and the .zem installed? If not pressing buttons will cause it to crash.
Make sure you have roms in /palm/programs/ljp/[system]/roms/ and the zem files in /palm/programs/ljp/ and that the paths in the other settings are all set to /palm/programs/ljp/system/roms.
