didn't try with Doom2 (duh :-()
but I seem to remember Heretic beginning on a very different level...

I previously tried the Heretic for Doom, although it wasn't Heretic it was just using the Heretic graphics and had a new map design. It was still fun until I got into it a bit and then it crashed.
Couldn't somebody have a go at porting Heretic. I personally think it was one of the best FPS game of it's time.

Any update for the feasability of using the real Heretic Wads for Zdoomz?
Now that it runs on my Treo 600 I'd love to play Heretic, as I found it much more enjoyable than Doom itself.
