If tyl was shrunk it may lose game compatibilty. Meaning if he shrunkit Mario RPg or Starfox may not work period. TYL currently uses all the memory it needs. (I looked at the source.)
Besides, does anyone know wher I can get the source for the GBA emu? Either one (PSPGBA or VBAEmu) not the PC ones but the PSP ones (easier to work with.)

It has nothing to do with processor speed. Obviously something can be done if the psp can clock to 333Mhz and the SNES only required 16Mhz or something. Think about that ... you're using like 20 times the power to emulate something. There is a way to play SMRPG and Star Fox on a psp perfectly and it has nothing to do with ways to overoverclock the psp. It has something to do with the emulation code, we just have to figure it out.
I don't even know 90% of how this stuff works but I'm thinking logically. This same idea applies to a lot of other emu's out there. We are using way too much power to emulate the systems, there has to be some way to just layer it to 222Mhz and have near-perfect emulation.

Anyway my most wanted feature are: 1. 100% SPEED on all games or just Mario RPG, most RPG games & Star Fox (I could live with that) 2. Deleting Save-states Option (in Snes9xTYL menu) 3. Deleting Roms Option (Read 2) 4. Cheat Option (Game Genie & Pro Action Replay) 5. Text Reader (to read walkthroughs while playing a game) 6. Oh I almost forgot mp3 Playback (Yoyo said "to add mp3 playback isn't hard since I already implemented it in neocdpsp. I'll give it a try when I've time") Which one would be easier to make quickly for the next releases? Anyway #1 is out the picture how about these 2. Deleting Save-states Option (in Snes9xTYL menu) 3. Deleting Roms Option (Read 2) 4. Cheat Option (Game Genie & Pro Action Replay) 5. Text Reader (to read walkthroughs while playing a game) 6. mp3 Playback (Yoyo one said "to add mp3 playback isn't hard since I already implemented it in neocdpsp. I'll give it a try when I've time") Which one could be done quickly for the next releases? Please tell me. ;D

Oh, well. Thats the difinite way to encourage TYL. "Okay guys, because were to impatient to wait, lets declare this project dead. Although its not even our project, and most of us don't know how to program, it still shoudn't take this long." Grow up people! (If you meant it as a joke, well then ignore this)

for sure, dragon quest 8, pgr 3 & kameo took me some time.... The major issue preventing me from releasing the new version is about the sound sync issue. I'll work a bit on it today and see if it's "releasable" afterall...

hmmmm.....here's an idea, instead of taking lots of time to sync the sound issue, just add the mp3 player feature. with the feature added you could turn off the in-game sound.....PROBLEM SOLVED rite....just an idea because i could careless about the sound from the game. Trance music RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but there are some people who do enjoy in-game music. And if a developer has an issue they want to resolve, a good one rarely takes the easy way out, but try to improve and improvise. Try coding, and you'll know what I mean.
