Sorry, if you got me wrong on this one, I already read the tutorial and it tells how to find the right spots in the rom and possible hacks, loops, whatever - but it just doesn´t tell how to add it to the ROM, just how to add it to a list that SNES Advance can use. You seem to have figured out on how to apply the hacks DIRECTLY to a rom - and exactly THAT piece of information is what I need Didn´t want to sound weird - just though you wouldn´t understand me - while actually I was not explaining right

To apply the edits to the rom directly, you need to aquire a hex editor, then find the appropraite modifications to whatever rom you need to mod.
For a while I tried applying my own hacking expertise to this feild, but failed miserably.
My advice for you before you even start is this:
DONT EXPECT MIRACLES!

of course not, but if you have a speed hack for let´s say CONTRA... This hack is confimed/tried and is working. Can I add this working hack DIRECTLY to the rom? (yes, I know it´s in TYL already, it´s just a question) or will this produce failures as well?
Which would simply mean that a hack just can NOT be applied to a rom. I presume you tried hacks that are new/custom found by you and not those already in TYL?

I don't play Contra, so I can't help you there.
As for applying the hacks, Contra has a MASSIVE supply of hacks available to increase speed, you simply need to apply the ones that TYL isn't already doing.
But as I have already suggested, I would try and avoid doing so, because some hacks speed up the game at the cost of playability.
For example, with your Contra, you probably won't get very far without the game crashing at proper speeds.
I would suggest you simply wait for the next TYL to debut, then mod the d**n hacks the easy way.

How can I find out what hacks TYL currently uses? I just want to apply the already existing (working) Contra hack directly to the rom, no others.
