You have only started disturbed, the best part of chrono trigger is playing through it like 10 times to see all the endings and get all the side items and such.

i will tell you ToP never left Japan for a reason. Now if you are really into it then I suggest hitting up some Secret of Mana next. That is a FANTASTIC game.
In reference to the multiple endings there are like 10 or 11 ( I forget) and it will all depend on when you do a certain event. (I wont say which one until you have beaten it)

Secret of Mana and Seiken Denstue 3 are GREAT..
Chrono Trigger hands down is the best RPG of all time, but that's been mentioned so much in this thread, thought I'd mention the SoM series, it's Heavenly.

Yeah, ToP is pretty awesome, as is Star Ocean 1...
I'd most DEF check out Seiken Denstue 3 if I were you though =X

i just bought a psp... and its crazy isint it? but still, i just got it like 3 days ago and im still trying to figure everything out.. i mean getting extra things for it such as my faveroit old school snes games. i got the emulator but i think i need further assistance with loading some of the games i have for it... i dont know if its frowned upon to mention any roms in this forum but i was wondering if i could just use any rom i have. are all roms the same and will any rom with for the psp? does it have to be a specialized rom for the psp?

Uh...you guys forgot Secret of Mana! Comeon that was one of the greatest SNES games ever!
Actually a good way to find which SNES games were the best: go to a used Video game store (there's several that still buy and sell the old systems) and look at the prices. Most of the good SNES games are $40+.
Ogre Battle also comes to mind, as well as Final Fantasy III. Actually anything made by Square was awsome.
edit: oops sorry I missed everything after page 1...looks like a few others did mention Secret of Mana. So I'll just add my vote to a great game.

i've actaully been trying to play that game for quite some time now
but i find it really hard to get into bcuz the texts are to hard to read, and it drives me crazy bcuz i dont know wat there saying. does anyone know if theres a way to fix this? im sure you guys know wat i mean.

most of my favorite snes games ever are listed here, as well as many of what i've chosen to go on here. i keep my rpg listing short because it takes so long to go through one, you're basically burning up space for nothing with all the others sitting there. then there's the issue of the 1024 files limit in the emu ;D
but anyway, in terms of what's not listed, i loved rock n roll racing back in the day.
too bad kirby superstar don't work very well on tyl yet...has that been speedhacked?
