Yes ;D But let me inform you that adelfe is brother and sister is adelfh. You should pay atention to the words ending. Male is -e female is -h (actualy is -i). There you go I am acting like a teacher now I studied the ancient greek language, something like the "koinè dialektòs", and i remember adelfòs was brother and adelfè sister, of course this is a little different from modern greek P.S. i use "e" and "è" as fonetic transcription in my language (italian) of the greek epsilon and eta, where for eta it should be more correct to write h i think... Of course, we are really off topic... Thank you for the little greek lesson ^__^

Hum... I am not sure I should do something here but guys PLEASE DONT GO OFF TOPIC. Actually I liked this thread... Dont mess it up thanks.
Here is some work in progress : I talked to yoyofr, and we want to release soon. We are not sure about the emu quality, still as the 0.3 and 0.2c is available, people will be able to choose anyway if any bugs happen...
I have some other stuff to do on my free time for my job actually these days, not so much time. I can not give you also release date because I couldnt join yoyo for the last few days...
I am looking for some long term improvment to TYL actually when I have some free time. But this is something that I should not talk about too much, because it may lead to nothing, and I dont want to give false hope.
So guys, please stay on topic. Thanks.

keep up the good work, i would rather wait longer for a better product than to get it right now and have a not-so-good one

It is more ambiguous than that actually... We believe we need to just tweak some bit and pieces before releasing. (network stuff and some stuff I worked on but not fixed yet) By doing the release, it will allow us to improve our emu too, as we will receive bug feedback. I have a "splitted" feeling about that, so I need to confirm with yoyo. But he told me he is VERY busy in private also these days (I will not disclose his private life , but I will talk to him tonight... Anyway, expect some news soon then...

just wtrying to get back on topic, are there any other features, that you don't mind sharing, that you plan on implementing to 4.0 besides online play?

- Bug fix has been done for the SRAM. - Improvment for the frameskip. - Complete new menu system. - Improvment over the ME handling. - Multiplayer - Ability to switch between the player on a single console. - Text viewer - USB support (you dont need anymore to quite the emu to connect to a PC and exchange data on the mem stick) - SPC Player.

Have you figured out why games were running slower in the beta version? Has the ME sound emulation improved to the point that games can run with sound enabled at the same speed as with sound disabled?

Will those fixes and improvements be included in the user mode version?

Except ME stuff, yes. I am not sure about the USB stuff...
Basically everything which ARE possible in user mode WILL BE done.

You didn't mention anything about sleep mode for the ME version, does that mean the problem won't be fixed? (Assuming, of course, it can be fixed ) Great emulator, keep up the good work

Whats the compatibility with 2.60? Will you release a non-ME version for us with the higher version? I'm always free to test it. And keep up the great work.

This is what the PSP Scene needs right now. While the homebrew community is still very strong, it is quiet lately. This release would be like replacing worn spark plugs and igniting more excitement. I love this EMU and can't thank the TYL team enough.
I hope this project receives continued and increased support so that development can progress.

I am impatient, too, but when the release comes it will surely be perfect! Don't forget that they do a really good job and they do it in their spare time. Greetings Tobi

You know, JMA support would be great. JMA is compression made just for SNES ROMs and it cuts the filesize of the ROMs in half. That would be great for those of us with the 32mb Memorystick Duos.

lol no need, u can run zipped roms

But JMA is superior to zip as it is made specifically for SNES ROMs. It cuts a 2mb rom down to about 700kb. I like that compression ratio.

2mb rom using zip will be 1mb-1.3mb or so. for 300kb they won't program that in i don't think

Just downloaded this (0.3) on to my V2.6 PSP (using ELoader and GTA:LC).
Well done guys - this has just increased the lifespan of my PSP 10 fold. Up until today, it was touch-and-go with it going on eBay, as the decent games are few and far between.
Amazing coding - simply amazing.
