Wow its been awhile since you posted Yoyo. Great to hear that its close to release. Hope this means you fixed most of the major bugs found in the beta.
Thanks for all your hardwork and coding. Can't wait for the release; it would definitely liven the Homebrew Community.

If its getting closer to release every second, then how doesn't that mean its close to release?? And I dont remember saying it was going to release soon either.

Cheeezy means that "it was never so closed to be released" sounds like "it will be released when it's ready" Yoyo, i hope your post wasn't just a ironic answer to a boring question, sorry if my post looked like "when are the emulator going to be released?", i just wanted to know the developing status becaus it's passed a lot of time since your last post and laxer said some days ago there was going to be some news Sorry for the bad english

There are some bugs on the non-me version i think.
When you go to exit the entire PSP freezes.
With sound enabled, on either 44khz or 22khz, the roms run FAR slower than they did in .3.
Freezes quite often. Overall, it is worse than .3 in almost every way. But on 1.5, using the ME everything is faster, there are no freezes, etc. etc. It works perfectly
EDIT: This is DEFINATELY a soudn issue. With sound disabled i get a MASSIVE speed increase, and it plays about the same speed as .3 did, but with sound, at any rate, i can't get above 11fps.

Hey, thanks for a good release. I am gonna test it now, cant wait! Oh yah, Cheezy needs to learn to read; trying to correct me on something that I never said. And now look, 0.4 is released and he was trying to tell me it was going to be released soon. Whatever though, happy its release.
Thanks SNES9X TYL team.

yoyo you guys got any ideas yet if it's true that .40 and .41 user have a prob with 333mhz?

yeap, it seems there is an issue, but it's weird since the code for psp cpu frequency has not changes this version 0.2.... so perhaps it's a pspsdk / eloader issue! but as I have only 1.5 firmware psp, I cannot test anything on 2.00+ (and I don't plan on upgrading....)

-edit- umm but you could still test it on your psp tho iirc it also happens on 1.5's if they try .41

by the way: just got my psp back (2.5) and mario runs PERFECTLY now with 266mhz (better than .3!!) (it used to be weird sound-wise, stuttery etc) Other games like tales of phantasia are a bit slower but that's to be expected @ 266. But I think that if it were 333 it would be faster than 0.3

Yes, the clock speed appears to set itself incorrectly on 2.6. If set to 333mhz the PSP actually runs at 222mhz, and only 266mhz actually runs at 266mhz.

2.6>1.5
In every way. Everything that is worht using runs on 2.6 except the newest release of this emulator. And you get all of the features of 2.6, which are just plain better than 1.5. The only thing that 1.5 psp can do that 2.6 cannot that is WORTH losing all the 2.6 features is this emulator, but .3 also runs exceptable.

Cuz i dont think that even tho there could be a homebrew ps1 emulator coming, it won't be any good @ 2.6 as u can't use ME etc

There will never be a need to upgrade past 1.50, as homebrewers such as MPH will always make it possible for us to use whatever features Sony provides in their future updates. Anybody who thinks they're better off with 2.01+ is simply in denial.
