Recently I've encountered two seemingly unrelated bugs, just wondered if anyone else has them too. BTW, I'm using FW 1.5 with snes9xTYL .04ME
First off, I recently started using LuaPlayer 0.18 and then when I tried to load up FF6, it messed up after loading settings. When I looked in the settings file, LUA had replaced it with something else. Deleted it and haven't had the problem since.
Secondly, I tried using the new menu-background music, and noticed that all new savestates afterwards were messed up - thumbnails were messed up and the emu claimed they weren't saved in the right format. Turned off the bg-music and, so far, saves seem to work again.
Any ideas why these have happened? Or am I the only one?

I've been having issues with the second bug, but I don't have any background music playing in the menu. When I try to save with a savestate it says saving but quickly exits to the game as if it saved and then I go back and check to see if it did, but it didn't save. Then I go and try to load the savestate I tried overwriting and it gives me the message "not saved in snes9x freeze format" or something along those lines. And then after that I exit the emulator and it says my psp can't recognize my memory stick. I have no idea what's wrong with it, and I didn't seem to have any memory stick issues such as that with earlier versions. So yeah, rockhyrax your not the only one with the savestate problem. And yes I'm using snes9xTYL 0.4ME on a 1.5 FW.

I'm using 0.4ME on a 1.50 PSP also.
I am pretty sure my save states are working. After reading this I will play with different games and state saving in more depth.
The bug I'm having is that if I add new ROMS to my ROMS folder and launch SNES9xTYL 0.4ME I want to take a snapshot of the games title screen. Other previous snapshots show up fine when navigating rom list. But new roms added don't display their snapshot. The snapshot is saved in the SAVE folder. So it is saving the snapshot but not displaying.

lua issue seems weird!
regarding the savestate issue, it's probably a memory issue : spc background music is needing some memory and savestate mini snapshots too! probably it's too much to have both at the same time

Quick update:
The LUA bug was probably caused by having a LUA script write to the memory stick while the usbDiskModeActivate() was running. I just read a warning about that, so now I know better.
For the save state thing, I turned on the background music again and confirmed that, for me at least, that was the problem. jelga, my PSP acted the same way, but I don't know what's causing the problem on yours if you aren't playing the music.
And skeldwar, I tried the snapshot thing and then adding more ROMs, but it didn't have a problem with the new snapshots. Although, for some reason, my computer had difficulty copying those jpeg's off the PSP..odd.
