Here's the scoop, I'm running TYL 0.4.2 ( fw 2.01,eloader9.6) and I'm having alot of trouble with some of my translated roms. I read in another thread something about IPS patches or some such thing. I actually dled a patcher prog but it has no readme txt. What exactly does it entail? Any help would be apprieciated (or even a push in the right direction) Sorry for any n00bishness on my part (btw I'm also having conflicts with some of my standard roms that ran just fine on 0.3...hmmm)

well if u have a separate rom with a separate .ips file it might bug, so if u patch the rom so the ips is incorporated into it, snestyl won't have to do it.. i don't have a prog like that anymore tho but search some emu sites @ google

best way is to prepatch your game : 1/ download lunar ips patcher : fusoya.panicus.org/lips/index.html2/ decompress your rom file is needed (if it's a zip, rar, ...) you should have something with a snes rom extension (.sfc, .smc, .fig, .1, .bin, ...) 3/ run the lunar ips patcher and apply your patch! |
