I think you guys should make it a goal to get the most graphicly demanding snes game running, and that game is Star Fox 2. While the game was never offically released there have been two rom leaks of it. The first one was a very early in development alpha which is for the most part unplayable. The second is a near final beta version that when played on the newest version of ZSNES is pefectly playable although there is a small amount of glitchs. Now when played on snes9x TYL 4.2 me there are heavy graphical glitchs and it freezes when you enter a battle. The reason this game is so demanding of the snes is because it was the only game to use the Super FX 2 chip. Now if it were possible to get this game ingame it would be awesome because it was a great game.

SF2?!?! Wow I never heard of this. How come it was never released? The first game was immensively popular, I can't imagine why they wouldn't finish it up and release it (well, back then). Now I really want to try this out and see how it looks for myself...

Nobody knows why it was canceled so close to completion but the most obivous guess was nintendo was shifting it's focus to the N64. If you want to try it out download the newest version of ZSNES and find the 600+ kb version of the rom (near-final beta) not the 300+ one (early alpha). It's a really fun game and it is beautiful (for the snes).

I dont think it was N64. It was already quite a start AFTER the Playstation...
I believe that nintendo saw his market share shrink while the PS1 was selling like hot cakes. So releasing a cartridge with an expensive chipset inside was may be a risky business considering time-to-market issue, number of games potentially sold, the season (like you dont sell well your cartridge until XMas and so on...)
If people were buying Ps1 at this time, would they invest an expensive 70$ for a game on Snes ?
Look financially at the picture would explain quite a lot of things. Just my 2c.

PSP can't handle this game. PSP can't even handle Super FX/SA1 chipsets, and you expect it to do better with a Super FX 2?

Thats weird then why can't the PSP handle PSP games? Explain to me why that is, THEY CAN RUN IT, but they have to find a way TO run it.

Hey guys dont mistake : - ability to DO something... - ability to DO IT FAST...
It is possible to emulate a super computer over a PSP if you want... But that does not mean that your PSP IS A SUPER COMPUTER.
More you ask for stuff to emulate, slower it will get, thats it ! So it is not something like TRUE or FALSE.

With handle I meant keeping a playable framerate. The PSP has limited capabilities, keep this in mind.
