My problem with SNES9xTYL 0.3

The only thing why I'm posting here is that I've been trying to get SNES9X TYL 0.3me working for the last three hours. I've read every topic I've found many times... but no.

I have installed the folders on my PSP like this (I copied the files from kxploit_ready):

PSP -> GAME ->

kxploit_ready -> s9xTYLme%, s9xTYLme
s9xTYLme%
s9xTYLme
unpatched

The folders have all the stuff they're supposed to have.

Then I go to my PSP and look at the files and I see:

Corrupted Data
Snes9xTYL v0.3me
Corrupted Data
Corrupted Data

Let's start the file Snes 9xTYL v0.3me (NOTE: I have the ROM on my PSP as well):

It starts all fine... goes black... and then it gives this message:

"The game could not be started.
(80020148)"

Back to the menu. How do I fix this problem? I understand that I'm supposed to know this but I'm literally going crazy with this. Lock, ban, call me retard but for the sake of my nerves, answer if you know.

And last but not the least, my PSP system software is Version 1.52.

Homebrew does not work on firmware 1.52

i think you have to upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade to 1.50 for it to work

1. Upgrade to Firmware 2.00
2. Use MPH Downgrader to downgrade to firmware 1.5
3. ??
4. Profit

PS why are you using version 0.3me, try version 0.42me

Okay, thank you, and sorry for inconvinience. I'll learn to upgrade now. The reason why I use 0.3me is that I tried 0.42 already but it didn't work, and had exactly the same problem. But yeah, thanks again.

Remember when you upgrade, do not upgrade beyond firmware version 2.00 ie don't upgrade to 2.01 - 2.7 as you will not then be able to downgrade to version 1.5.
