Help With Super Mario World 2

I was hoping someone cold help me tweak my setting for this one.

I'm using 4.2 standard (FW 1.00) and the game runs a little slow at times. REALLY slow at certain times. I upped the frame skip and that helped for some of the game but it's still pretty slow. I also see that there is some unsupported features in this game based on the way the animation looks at times. Same with SMW1 but that doesn't matter.

I tried the ME version and while it ran a little faster on it's own it kept crashing on me. So back to standard it was.

What else can I do to help speed things up?

well try playing with sound off if u can bear it.. otherwise stick to ME.. but i think SMW2 is still not really fullspeed-playable..

Can't use ME, it locks up freqently with this game.

Where do you turn off speedhacks? I don't see this option anywhere?

Go to the GUI then to MISC, scroll down to Hack/debug menu and there you'll see Speed hacks.

i'm using 0.4.2me and i get 55-60fps with sound on (55 being when you do really high jumps), here are my settings:

psp accel.+accur.soft.
frameskip 4
