Well.... since this forum has been dead for a week, i decided to make a discussion on the mod chip.

For those of you who don't know there is not a mod chip for the psp.

what I am wondering is what this will do for all the 1.5 people. will it be for the better or for the worse because on one hand it will enable people to not be affraid of bricking their psps and cause cracking in firmwares. on the other hand, only the later firmwares will probly be cracked.

I actually am not really interested in it. All I use the psp for is emulation of my old games. Well, maybe poco loco, but i wouldn't spend money on a mod chip just for that.

I will definetely buy it! I will have both latest games and ps1 emulation and 1.5 on the same psp!

BTW this forum is at regular pace, this is how slow it get while there is no new release, then it gets flooded with noobs and the inevitable - "Where do I get roms?" and the "How do I install this?" or my favorite "Why wont mario RPG, Starfox, Kirby, Yoshi, etc. not work"

Just keep watching where the stuff gets posted, and then you will see what I mean on release, I have been on here for 3 or 4 releases now and it always follow that pattern (ESPECIALLY when it got mention in PSM or which ever magazine it was.)

same here ive been around since .2 and i kind of like the flooding noobs because it keeps me something to do but for the past week its been really dead so i figured id make a different topic.
