I read the "Install Instructions" thread and tried the recommended emulator for v1.5 (0.3me.), but I can't run any roms, including Mario World, which does run on my computer. I've also tried every version of the emulator I could find, but nothing works. I've also tried not using the "xploit ready" files and patching them on my own. I've gotten NES games to work and some other Homebrew games. I'm not new to emulation, but I am new to a PSP. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, but I forgot to add that the PSP crashes after trying to load.

format the memstick and try to install everything from scratch.

also, you should go to yoyofr's site and download the new version, 4.2. the site is here yoyofr.fr.st/ go to projects then once you click on snes9xtyl you can click on download me version. hopefully that helps. |

I just tried formatting my memory stick and the same thing happened. I tried the new version and it says, "I regret to inform you that your PSP has crashed." on a blue screen. It also says something about an exception bus error. Any other ideas?

Oh thats bad. Try updating to 2.0 and use the eloader to load the emu. If it is succeful downgrade to 1.5 and try again. My friend had a similar problem, and got his psp replaced(It couldnt play video as well.)

0.42 was the version that gave me the error message instead of just crashing.

you still haven't exactly described how u installed it, how you boot it, what shows onscreen, if snestyl boots or not,.. etc. etc.
