Im talking about the keyboard in snes9x where the keys are yellow and you "navigate" with analog and the default button is space and delete. this keyboard is very creative and easy to use, i was wondering if there was a way (mess with flash?) to switch it with psp's default keyboard?

NO.
Its built into the firmware. you could mess around with the psp flash if you really want to.

I don't thiunl anyone knows where the keyboard data is stored, plus it would require re-writing a lot of stuff, just not worth it.

Perhaps new custom firmwares can implement this (now that we can downgrade all the way to 1.0). I found the keyboard for Snes9xTYL to be very intuitive, compared to the "bundled" one.
