1. Eloader .97 has problems with wifi-homebrew using 333mhz -> 333=222. Therefore use 300mhz or if u want 333mhz (and you do) use eloader .96
2. snestyl .42 DOES NOT have the soundfrequency bug anymore, using max frequency does not speed up games anymore, it's now as it's supposed to be. LOWERING frequency speeds up the game, turning sound off max speed boost.
3. snestyl .42 DOES NOT have the savestate bug anymore that you can't load savestates without the sound dropping out. HOWEVER savestates made with e.g. .40 still have this: load them if you must, save normally ingame if you can, then reload the game, load that savegame and make a NEW savestate. I'm not sure if loading up the savestate and remaking one works, don't think so.
4. snestyl .42 DOES NOT have normal in-game save bugs anymore, this works fine.
5. snestyl .42 is THE FASTEST and the MOST COMPATIBLE snes emulator for psp out there, better and faster than .2c .3 .4 and snes9x and uo_snes.
6. use psp/accurate as the graphics engine if you experience graphical problems
7. if you get a white screen trying to load .42 use the introless version: rapidshare.de/files/20485226/snes9xtyl_0.4.2_minusintro.zip.html
