Hi all , I'm using snes 4.2 not the ME version , the other one . And
I'm not sure of what I've done wrong but I cannot save ,
everytime I try to save it shows ''saving state'' then it brings me
back to the game and when I try to load later .. there is no save
state .. Have anyone faced this problem before and can anyone
help me with this ..also what's the perfect adjustment for playing
a game like Chrono Trigger .. since its my first post im not
expecting lots of replays but I hope im wrong , Anyway thanks
for reading and thanks yoyo fr and all the stuff here for doing
such a wonderful emulater , And I'm sorry if these problems have
already been answered in other posts or threads , if so you dont
have to answer me i will keep searching for answers , thanks
for your time ,,

It's called Standard-Version ^_~
Does the emulator create the savestate and it doesn't show up in the menu, or isn't it created at all?
For the settings: There are no "best" settings. It depends on the game and your preferences.
My standard-settings are 333Mhz, 44100Hz, PSP accelerated + accurate software, zoom to fit, smoothing, speed limit auto, frameskip 0, VSync off. and speedhacks enabled. For Chrono Trigger, it works fine for me, if I increase frameskip to 1 (it still gets a little slow sometimes but it keeps beeing perfectly playable)

That's strange ; A few things you coukld check: Is there a SAVE sub-directory in your snes9xTYL-folder? (It should be created automaticly, but who konws...) Does the in-game saving work? And for the settings - I'm glad it helps a little, but don't depend on them. It's best to mess around with them for every game ;D

actually i dont have any clue about how i can solve it , i dont know abt sram autoupdate , but since the emu save state is working with everyones psp's except mine .. i guess the problem might be in my psp .. but i tried other emu's and the save state is ok , also when i used to use snes3.0 the save state was fine ..do u know how can i get it to work

problem isn't "in" your psp but in your configuration make sure the folder it wants to save savestates to exists etc. copy someone's config?
