In "Darius Twin (U)", the game will freeze right before the first boss. This is not occurent in UoSnes9x, so if you fix it I can finally get rid of it. I can supply a save state (and possibly the ROM) so you can easily see the problem. I really, really want this fixed and I've only seen it happen in this game. It's probably a bug that'll occur in other games though. (could possibly be VRAM-related)
Now for the sound question. I read that with the media engine, you could play the music without the graphics affecting it. This does not appear to be so, when in games like Star Ocean, the music slows down when a message box appears. Why is this? Have I got the wrong message about the media engine?

I believe that they are kept in synchronization, so if the video slows down, so will the sound. What media engine support does is use this new dedicated hardware to process all sound, leaving more power on the main CPU for the video. That's how I understood it anyways
