on www.pspupdates.com it says that homebrew can be played on 2.71 via Emulaion by Devhook if the homebrew is recompiled to work with DevHook I thought I would just say just incase Devhook users in this forum have been having to hard reboot just to play SNES Emulator

The ME version wouldn't work because the hack doesn't allow kernal access, apparently.

the importain word in the first post is "recompile." i'm sure TYL developers won't release a new version for awhile, even if they did, the next release might not be compile to work with DevHook. Although having a quick fix to work with DevHook would be nice because I use DevHook 'A LOT!'

I think that eventually Devhook firmwares will be completely custom and will run whatever firmware there is. This way nobody has to mess with the flash and risk bricking and nobody has to convert homebrew for compatibility.

There is no point. It takes me less than 4 seconds to power off and then back on, and i'm back in teh 1.5 XMB, where I can then execute the ME version of snes9xtyl, which is faster, more stable, and has more working features.
It would take me about 5 seconds longer for the much better version. What is even the point?
