Just wondering ? Maybe laxer3a or Yoyofr can answer.
How hard would it to be to port DGen or PSPGenesis with the sound being placed on the Media Engine like with SNES9xTYL?
Let's face it after SNES, Genesis is the most popular 2D system, but there isn't any emulators that runs as well as this SNES emu.
DGen with sound on & frameskip at zero runs poorly (well compared to 0 FS on SNES_TYL) for all games, a shame considering how much less powerful Genesis is compared to SNES.
I was just wondering if moving the sound to the ME from either of the two Genesis emulator's would be a dfficult task or any programmer can do if they know the basics?
Since Yoyofr & laxer3a pioneered using the Media Engine, I wonder what their opinion on it would be.
Is it still something only a few programmers would know on using or is info out there just people not bothering to use it.
