Maybe a bug?

Hi people. I'm new here.

I was using snes9xTYL-0.4.2, and today I read that ME would run better ('cause the kernel access). Well, in the 0.4.2 I can put my psp in Standby mode and it was instantaneous. but in the ME version, it takes maybe a cupple of minutes to get the standby mode (the screen gets black but with a litthe bright :S).

Is that only happening to me? or it's normal in the ME version. If its normal... I think the other version runs better.

Well, thx in advance and in special to yoyofr, keep on doing that really great stuff ^^

EDIT: The PSP don't get the standby mode, only the screen gets black with a bright, then the bright dissapears but the light of "Power" in green is always on... :S

It has to do with the way this version uses the media engine. It cannot shutdown the media engine so it cannot go into standby.

Oh, it's good to know it. Thx for the info ^^. I will use the standar version then

I reccomend the ME version and exit out using the menu when you are done. It is fast with sound on.
