Just answer as many as you can from personal experience or general opinion.

Which version of Snex9x TYL have you guys found to run the best?
The last one I had ran very smooth but only if I turned off sound from the TYL menu, and ideally I'd like to be running my games at full speed with sound on.

Also, if you guys have found that different games run better with different settings, do any of the newer versions of TYL allow me to save individual settings for different ROMs?

If the answer to the second question is Yes, then could you recommend settings for some of these games for optimal running?
Breath of Fire 2
Final Fantasy 2
Final Fantasy 3
Secret of Mana
Super Mario World

Also I missed out on the SNES era, getting a SEGA Genesis instead (which I loved don't get me wrong), but what other SNES gems should I check out?
I've played quite a few but I'm not going to list all the ones I've played as it could take awhile.

You should definately get Chrono Trigger if you're into RPGs, most people agree it's one of the best ever

snes9xtyl 0.42 ME works perfect with sound on (if you have a slim psp use the slim ME version floatin around)
