I know this is in the planning phase still, but I was curious as to just how difficult this would be to implement. Should we be expecting it sometime soon-ish, or is it still basically a pipe dream? Im sure both Tinnus, yoyo and everyone else who has been working on this already knows how great this program is, and I just want to thank everyone for their hardwork so far.
Regards Mike

Bluetooth has got to be one of the most anticipated new features of LJP.

The hard part would be syncronization I think, we need to be sure each and every frame that both players have the same control data. I hope BT has enough speed for the approach I have planned in my head...
But the BIGGEST problem would be testing. I only have access to one BT PalmOS model, and it's not mine. yoyo too. But maybe, just maybe, one can create the same system with IrDA in some way you just have to change a flag, so one can test it via IR.

I can do the communications the same way yes, and I plan to. But the difference is that Doom always had multiplayer handling code, just missing the data transfer part. These emulators were not meant to be "multi-played" so code must be written (and tested) to handle data, maintain sync and stuff like that.

I know there are emulators that have multiplayer over Internet and such, and I think I know how to do it, it's just that I can't test because I only have one unit.
