GBC: Metal Gear

i could not finish metal gear in ljp because when i reach an area where there is a need to use an elevator.

whenever snake goes to another floor the game, not the emulator nor the system, suddenly freezes and a message suddenly pops up and says "die"... a spooky bug...

i get that sometimes when i go to start up zelda oracle of ages.. it says it twice then my palm resets

I'll see if I can find where the "die" message is triggered and see if I can find a reason for it to happen...
