After doing extensive research throughout this forum, I feel like I'm the only person who has no clue how to actually perform the function of freeing up or clearing the dbcache. I've followed all the instructions with respect to the software that needs to be installed. But maybe I'm missing some button or something that actually performs the clearing.
If you can help, I'd appreciate it.

I usually just do a reset...

So, other than performing a reset, there's no way?
Why does everyone keep saying that they can free their DBcache in DBcache tool? I don't see any function there allowing you to do that. All I see is information about the DBcache.

As far as I understand it, you can only set trigger points on which the DBCache is cleared automatically. You can't do it by hand.

First, I have put a little explication at the end of the post for the LifeDrive here. So, you have to use DALauncher. When you have loaded it, click on "DAs" (in the bottom right-hand corner), choose "DBCacheDA" and click on "Run". Then, click on "Clear", and it will be done. Make sure that UDMH is running and enabled (if not, just make it enable) and launch LJP.

The other bit of information is that you actually have to download the software named "DBCache Tool" and install it on your Palm.

And another bit, which I forgot to add to the howto - the clearing method configured in DBCacheTool should be "DB", not "Sync". You can leave it on "Safe Mode".
