Hi all,
I'm trying for a long time to run SNES on my TX and i've tried everything, UDMH, DBcache, resets, it all won't work (crash with 'out of memory'). Now i read I need 6,3 mb free at Max alloc in the DBCache program, though my palm won't go anything over 6074904 bytes so i guess that's my problem. Does anyone know a solution to let it reach 6.3 mb?

You followed all instructions inside the "How to optimize your LifeDrive (or T|X) for LJP"?

Yes; disable YAHM and any other background apps/hacks and do a soft reset. You should be up to around 7.0/7.5MB then, which is enough to run most SNES and Genesis games.

Yes; disable YAHM and any other background apps/hacks and do a soft reset. You should be up to around 7.0/7.5MB then, which is enough to run most SNES and Genesis games. That's the problem, i can't remember i'm running ANY other program, i don't have hacks or background apps. Is there maybe a program which can show me what is running? Well i did a hard reset and at least it doesn't crash anymore, but donkey kong (i tested version 1 and 3, prince of persia does work) ain't working :-(
[edit]Donkey kong was a bad ROM, i found another and now it's working like a charm![/edit]

AFAIK, the following programs will use up some of your DBCache; I might have added a few that don't, and I might have forgotten a few that do:
AGConnect
Card Export (Uses a bit, and I've found it to destabilize my TX when linked to WinXP)
ChangeName
DALauncher
FBTV
InboxToGo
Media
NetFront 3 (uses a LOT of cache; I presume you also have MaxX installed, which also consumes a fair bit)
pTunes
RBackup
UDMH
WarpSpeed
