File Extension of snes roms

Which file extansion must a rom for snes emulator be? I've allready roms onmy harddisk but when I copy them in the rom file, and start to emlute I always get the message "Out of memory loading PNO." "Error while loading PNO" "259".
My file extension is .smc or .fig or .v64 but no one runs in LJP snes emulator!?

So, I want to know which file extension a snes file must be?

pno 259 is memory out message, you must use udmh ( www.palmpowerups.com ) which is shareware.

smc looks a good extension for snes

You might have problems getting FIG and V64 dumps to work; you can convert them to SMC format using SNESTool. Which device are you using? You'll probably need UDMH to run SNES and Genesis, and you might need to disable some memory resident hacks as well.
