i have a zire 72 and i want to download LJP but i am afraid that it is going to crash my zire too much adn mess it up. i'm sure this has been discussed many times but could someone please tell me (or send me to a link that would tell me) what programs i need to make LJP run the best, how to put games on my zire or preferably my memory card, and any other information i would need to best use LJP on my zire 72.

1) For the Zire 72 you just need UDMH (for SNES) and maybe an overclocker (like PXAClocker) to boost speed. 2) You can only put games on the card. Refer to the readme file for that. 3) For the rest, just search the forums.

I have a Zire72. You only need UDMH to run LJP. No overclocker required, everything runs full speed without. I only get maybe the odd crash.

An overclocker is good if you want to play SNES and Genesis with sound (Z80 sound in Genesis especially) and no frameskip. Also a must if you intend to use any of the 1.25x smoothing filters.

%20;D snes doesn`t need overclocking on my Zire72s, but Sega are. NES games runs slighty too fast i always cut their speed to 70% or it is impossible to play (i.e baloon flight, over horizon, super spy hunter)

Strange, it shouldn't go TOO fast. You tried AUTO frameskipping?

First you would need to tell us which overclocking app you're using. PXAClocker and WarpSpeed both have their own user forums, if it is one of these that you've picked up.

The Zire 72 can usually go to 512 MHz without a problem (IIRC). The general rules are:
a) more speed, less battery b) less speed, more battery c) anything above the limit and you'll probably have a hard reset.
