Hey Tinnus I like your work and all your efforts in getting consoles onto my T|X are fully appreciated on a divine level.
I am a serious math and logic freak. I've never really done serious coding before but I am seriously willing to learn. I want to work on LJP using the source code but I just need some help with the first few steps. After that I feel confident that I could learn as I go.
So what I want to know is. What programs do I need to work on LJP the same way you do? Are the programs you use open source (FREE) programs or are we talking about some stuff that I have to invest $300 into just to view and edit the coding?
Any help would be awesome.

You can view and edit the code with any text editor, however you can only compile it with CodeWarrior--which is the $300 case unfortunately However... For LJR (see website) I'll do OS and compiler abstraction. Which that means is that: a) you'll be able to work on stuff not palm-specific and test it on your Desktop, be it Windows, Linux or anything with SDL; b) you, or anyone, will be able to write palm code compatible with PODS, prc-tools or whatever free package you might like. Beware though: the current code is a serious mess. Just download it and try to make any sense out of it in the first 2 hours.
