first of all, i have been playing snes and genesis games without having the stuff.zem file and it was working fine. do i need to add that file? second, my trial of udmh ran out and as of now i am too poor/cheap to actually buy it so i want to play games that don't require it. when i try to play game gear it has a couple of errors. "error while loading the PNO" "259" "unrecognized PNO format". It said this when i did and did not have the stuff.zem file on my memory card.

1) the stuff.zem file is the fancy animation in the help screen
2) that is an out of memory message, duh, that's why you need UDMH
