Hello, First, if this question is inappropriate for this board then Im sorry.  I have the origina Tron Arcade rom in MAME format. Is there anyway to convert this to a .bin (or whatever is appropriate for VCS?). One of my favorite all time games, would LOVE to play this is LJP. Also.. what does VCS stand for? Thanks in advance! |

Not convertible, but have you tried it in the PalmMame emulator? The roms must be converted to .36 format using ClrMamePro or RomCenter.
Yeah, I know, all the Tron games for the consoles are not quite like the Tron Arcade game.

know where I can find the original arcade tron.bin rom ? does it even exist?

Asking for rom is illegal. Telling you to use google is even illegal because it gives you a maneer to find the illegal roms...

You're welcome to your opinion, but before giving it, try to get some idea of the tremendous amount of time that programmers such as Vilmos put into their work. If you put such time and energy into a FREE product, would you appreciate someone trash-talking it? Seriously, some constructive criticism on the author's own forum would go much further toward the emulator's improvement than posting anywhere else. |

Beavis +1, Mame have some drawbacks, but its a fantastic piece of code with great stability.
And the Palm Mame is good also, the only dumb thing is our palm not having enough heap to run more than Pang.
