I've been using LJP on my Palm T3 for over a year with no problem. Then out of the blue, I'm using the GB emulator and the screen freezes. -I hard reset and when I open LJP I see that all my roms are gone. -I check my SD card and everything is there in the programs/LJP folder. -So I try again but this time I get the 'first time/crash' message and still no roms found. -I delete the app and use the installer. Everything looks fine but I get the same 'first time/crash' message again. -I click HOME on my T3 and get a new error message "Cannot write LJP ini file, preferences won't be saved" click OK, then get a FATAL EXCEPTION alert. -I have to hard reset. This has never happened before.
Any help is appreciated.

That's a problem with the SD card. Exit and reinsert it again. Then everything should be fine...

Have you tried deleting the ljp.ini file and also the preference entry for LJP: "LJPM 2" ? Use a utility such as RsrcEdit or Filez. Check the SD card to make sure the "lock" switch is not locked. EDIT - Have you installed the T3 SDIO update from Palm? www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/tungstent3/t3_update.html

It seems to me like the card is corrupted, OR there's a problem in reading it. Try formatiing the card (backup the data to your PC) and/or reading other cards.

Hey, thanks for all the suggestions. It works only after I remove the card, open another program, go back to the main Palm screen, insert the card, and open LJP. Unfortunately, when I exit LJP I get the Fatal Exception error and have to hard reset. The same thing happened with two other cards I tried. Maybe I should just back up everything and reset my T3.

"Cannot write LJP ini file, preferences won't be saved" I had the same problem with LJP 1.0rc3 and my T|T. I deleted all the .ini files from /PALM/Programs/LJP/ and everything started to work again.
