Hi - new to LJP and got it working with my GB and NES ROMs just fine. I'm using a Treo 680 and UMDH. When I try to load an SNES ROM that works on my PC using ZSNES 1.42, it just says can't load ROM. LJP reports RAM 7657/5302KB DB: 14874/14863KB. Is there anything I need to do to improve RAM? is the ROM somehow in the wrong format? Please let me know what you think...

The 680 doesn't require UDMH. However, your reported available RAM is too low for some reason -- since you have UDMH, you might want to set it to a fixed value of 19000 or so. Your DB looks fine.
Your ROM can be either in one of the standard uncompressed SNES ROM formats (SWC, for example), or it can be zipped using Winzip/InfoZip style zip compression. If your ROMs are compressed with JMA, GZip, or something similar (that ZSNES supports), it won't work on LJP.

Are you running any memory-instensive background apps like Launchers with a photo background, etc?
