Tinnus seems to be calling it LJ...but i like LJX. Little John Xtra? Little John Xtreme? Little John Xuper (lol)? Little John X?
I actually like the last one...but Little John by itself would be fine.

Yes LJX is a working name, like Chicago for Win95 But the official name for now is just "Little John". BTW I'm really taking a hiatus from working on LJX since classes just started And I'm playing games a bit ;D But I should resume after I finish the games

I really should try to get that ini parser working...the launcher is useless without it.
Unless tinnus finishes his games fast enough and switches to feature memory -- i don't have to port anything for that. *Tells tinnus to finsih his games NOW!*

LJX was just a name this forum came up with because Tinnus' original choice of LJR didn't seem quite right Maybe because it isn't so little anymore we should just call it John

Even if I am, maybe I'll just copy the INI text verbatim to memory and parse that since it's safer Anyway, you really should be able to do the (rather small) changes to iniparser to load/write files (at least write) using the VFS calls instead of stdio easy enough... if you can manage to do all the rest it can't be so hard

doesnt run.. says no associated program or something.. What? It works for me... or are you hotsyncing? try card reader EDIT: Thanks so much Tinnus, it now WORKS with NO crashes (i hope...). Is this different from what you did in LJP? My code seems to be fine, and not uber-complicated... or is it and i just don't know... icefire: so what did you learn from your compiling of LJP? what nuggets can you gleam from this experience? did you do it just to learn how LJP is compiled or to learn C? why did you want to do it? i was just curious ...
