Could we port nanosaur to the palm os? The Source code is available and we've definitaly got enough buttons (at least on the zodiac we do) the processor is definatly fast enough too. But the only thing we don't have is 3d acceleration Maybe we could use the extra speed for the accel. but I dont know. There were like, 3 games that came bundled with the macintosh that are open source. (Super Maze wars wasn't OS as far as I know. Or it's just disappeared) The games are: Nanosaur (fast enough to run...err.... I mean slow enough, cuz this is palm:)) Bugdom(requires a 300 mhz processor, but we could overclock right?) Umm.. I forgot the last one but I just saw it on the website for PS. (ya know, the people that made the games I never got the last game with my mac so I just didn't really care I'm gonna go read the code... Just for fun

um, gonna need at least a link to the code.
Also not that if it uses a 3D accelerator to run the game then you can't assume anything about the power required to port it.

Just do a search for NANOSAUR SOURCE CODE and that will get you there ;D

Please only use this source code for informational and educational use. Please do not violate our copyrights and trademarks by building modified versions of Nanosaur and releasing them to the public. If you desire to use this game engine in a commercial application, please contact Pangea Software to purchase a license to use the code.
You are not allowed to release your modification.

Oh well in that case of course it can be done, no guarantees it would be playable.
