I just came across a recreation of the game Super Maze Wars by Callisto. As said on the main site (which is www.slimeland.com/games/mazewars/): "Maze Wars was programmed in C++ with OpenGL" I e-mailed for the source but haven't had a reply yet The graphics are nice, but don't seem over-complicated either. Any chance this could be ported? Thanks, coder12

Should be easily replaceable with a software rasterizer, or even my Vincent port since the 3D is very basic. I'm personally not in the mood to do that though

I've got some .bmp layouts that I quickly made if you ever need them I'll try contacting "Slime" again as I have had no reply yet (Unless someone else has the source code for some reason )

Well, did I say I would port it? Not at the moment...

Sorry, I must not have looked at what I posted. And I'd imagine it's hard to port without the source code

That's for sure, in the time between one might post an How-To how to setup Quake with Bots and CTF gameplay. Or stuff like this in Duke3D :-)

Doesn't Duke 3d already have fake mp?

It has Bots (as Quake has too) but I don't know about different MP-game modes in Duke.

Well ,why should he give you the source, let alone create a port?

Ok, well he actually does exist, and he says that he is reluctant on releasing the source code for some reasons he holds. . . I however asked if he would maybe take a look and if he could port it in his spare time. With finals for school though I haven't had time to check my emails and see if he replied.
