Hey everyone. I've been experimenting around with overclocking my T3, and using LJP, ZDoomZ, and the rest. Basically, I was just wondering how many people here overclock their devices, and for any fellow T3 users, how high you've managed to clock it. Right now, I'm using PXA Clocker and as a reference, I've been playing super mario world in SNES with "slow" smoothing on and 1.25x at 4x frame skip. The frame counter has never droped below 55, and rarely drops below 58 with my T3overclocked to 590. I have pushed it up to 665, but I didn't really notice a difference in LJP. Basically, I'd just like to know how far everyone else has been willing to push their pdas ;D

They say it's fastest at 533 (memory overclocked to 133 with PXAClocker).
You shouldn't use slow smoothing with FS4 though, it's a waste. Try medium smoothing (looks great) and see if you can survive at FS 2 or 3.
BTW Doom doesn't need to be overclocked. Actually it could be UNDERclocked to 200 MHz or so and still run fine (and save battery).

I'm running PXA Clocker on a Treo 650 set to 468MHz for LJP. I also have UDMH running with default settings for LJP.
The unit does not run too hot, and I consistantly hit between 55-60 fps running most SNES games.
;D

It's not good to overclock your palm because it could drain your battery more and have long term affects. It's not recommended, a little overclocking is fine but don't do overclock more than 100mhz.

I think it doesn't do any harm to overclock the 400MHz CPU of the T3 to 500-600. It's probably meant to work at 500 or so and clocked down by PalmOne (as always) to increase battery life.
