As we can see, on the poor 144 MHZ CPU, even to run a NES game or a GBC game, the speed is not good enough.
If I switch the sound on, I have to set frame skip to 2 or 3 to run games. But the skipping is quite annoying and makes me dizzy.
Hope LJP can support T|T / T|T2's dsp mode, let the dsp chip to deal with the sound function. Then the speed should be more faster. I think SONY TH55 has got a advantage from its display chip, right?

Try turning off smoothing and set scaling to 1x.

And overclock.

The TH-55 does have a display chip, but it doesnt accelerate things like this. Mobile Stream (the company behind landscape) is hacking the HHE chip on the TH-55, and it is possible that some of its functions could be useful for LJP, though we will have to see. Someone would have to add it into the program anyway.

On my T|T2, I never turn on the "smooth" option, it will terribly slow down the speed.
Even I scale to 1x, with sound on 22 MHZ, I have to set frame skip to 2 to get most of the action game run, on a normal game speed.
Example: only frame skip set to 2, games like Castle, Tmnt are at normal speed...
Once I tried to overclock with lightspeed. But I think it does help a lot. In fact, I found that when my T|T2 run a speed as low as 44 MHZ, I can also run games with frame skip at 3.
Maybe to let LJP support the DSP is only a dream...I know more and more new models are out these days...
