Has anyone been successful getting any of the ZxxxxZ programs to work with Styletap//Windows Mobile? I just swithed from a Palm 755p (Palm) to Palm 800w and I sure miss these games. The program will start where you get the screen showing the WAD files and the button setup, but when attempting to lauch the game itself, the whole thing crashes.

Style Tap doesn't work with anything that uses ARM code. Period. The same goes for the other palm emulators. However, you may want to search for "(game name here) for windows mobile" as there may be ports of doom etc. . . for ppc. I know there's a wolfenstein port, and we don't have wolfenstein on palm so your in luck there I guess.

Oh well, I was afraid that was the case. Well thanks for the definitive answer so I don't spend half of my stupid life looking for the solution! Who has time for games, anyway!

*waves hand in air* I have time for games!!! And I just checked, there is a doom for pocket PC, and a whole bunch of emulators too. I'd put dos box back on my ppc if the d-pad buttons would work, but they don't.

Coder12, StyleTap of course supports ARM code!! The Armlets run native on the ARM CPU of the Windows Mobile PC. That isn´t the problem.
But there are other problems:
Some exotic functions aren´t simulated by StyleTap in ARM. But the main problem is that StyleTap simulates only 1 MB dynamic heap, so you can really forget running memory hungry applications like Doom with it!

Really? I could have sworn that I read it didn't support it because it was a port of the emulator itself or something. Oh well, my mistake. Thanks for the correction
