So I updated my LJP to 1.2. When I start it up , each system that i open up has "dcim" and "palm" in the folder where my roms used to be. I was currently running LJP 1.0 rc2 (pci installer)
I first deleted LJP from my phone and installed the new ljp.prc.
I read throughout the forum and followed the video that other members has made.
please help. Thanks!

Just re-assign paths. To do this: 1. Go to the main ljp launcher 2. Go to "other" 3. Go to "paths" 4. Go into each module and set it too "/palm/programs/ljp/(modulenamegoeshere)/roms" without the quotes of course. Have fun LJPing!

Remove the ljp.ini file in /PALM/Programs/LJP. This will reset your preferences and is the first thing you should try, ESPECIALLY after an update (and one as big as this one).

1.2 is soooo much better than RC2, you should play around with the new features while your at it

Are you checking /palm/programs/ljp/? Is your card write protected? Have you changed any settings from the defaults? Did you get the "recovered from crash/first launch" message?

to check if card is write protected, see if the switch on the side of the card (if there is one) is in the "lock" position.
Did you configure controls?

The card shouldn't be write protected unless you switched it somehow when you inserted it in the card reader. Even though, stranger things have happened: to check for write protection: 1. insert the card into the reader. 2. right click on the drive name 3. go to properties
You can find out easily from there.
Or you could just try to drag a file onto the card, being that if it's protected it wouldn't copy.
