So I got a new Centro the other day off of ebay. (Only 25 dollars! ) to replace my Treo 650 who suffered a saddening fate of overheating or the processor becoming desoldered partially. Anyways, what I'd really like for it would be some finger friendly apps, iPhone or pre-esque. Here's my current list: Touchlauncher Touchbook keygex Nexave* Quick Memo(aka. Treo Memo)* TealOS* pTunes* *indicates an app I use as my default. I'm theming my centro to be completely like a Pré / pixi as much as I can, so editing the Palm OS default files with WebOS graphics etc... Any more that others can think of?

Resco Explorer
and just for fun, a few games that might be similarly fitting: Dartz MegaBowling

*sighs* ... My centro died yesterday, it had the hotsync of death problem, and now it won't power it on, so I'm selling it for parts on eBay now. RIP my good buddy.

I had something similar, a centro that did nothing but loop through hotsyncs until the battery died. That is until I fixed it. I took the back off, and cleaned around 5 sides of the hotsync connector with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. It worked perfectly until the next day, when the hotsyncs would sporadically start again. Cleaned once more, and the random hotsyncs have not returned.
Give it a try, nothing to lose but a few minutes of time, especially if it's your only palm unit.
