I got an idiot idea but... Would it be hard to emulate our old pc 386/486 with a msdos emulated in order to run old games like raptor, xcom and so on ? The basis could be : 2mb memory max 486sx33 (cause dx need co processor and i dont know if its very hard to emulate) MSDOS 6.1 vga standard card Tseng Labs ET4000 sound blaster common card generic mouse driver with the screen well, i know its idiot, but we emulate atari st pretty fast, amiga is now at a good step, but still, we got no pc compatible  This message is only as information purpose to know some coder advice |

There are some DOS emulators for the Pocket PC, one of the newer ones based on DOSBOX was fast enough to play some of the games I tried.

Carmen Sandiego is available on SNES and I've tried, it works with LJP!

Have you all tried Sarien? I know this port was suggested a month ago, but I couldn't resist giving it another plug. It will play King's Quest, The Black Cauldron, Police Quest, and lots of other Sierra games back from the good old DOS days. The Palm port is at www.tc-43.com/~hilary/sarien/ . The official multi-platform Sarien site is here: sarien.sf.net . Sierra game information: www.eds.org/~david/agi/sierra/ . While you're at it, check out ScummVM. This port will play such classics as Monkey Island, Broken Sword and Simon the Sorcerer, many of which are DOS based. www.scummvm.org/ |

Yeah beavis... I tried them also... but Sarien seems to be a dead project... and ScummVM it's wonderful. Do anybody remember "Crusader: No Remorse"? I mean games like this.

btw still crossing my fingers that someday, someone, somewhere will figure out a way to emulate an 80386 processor on the palm. If it's even possible...
