Holy Schmack! Has anyone else tried this?
It's still slow, but it's nothing like the previous super slow=unplayable GBA emulators on the PSP until now.
The sound is also really messed up, but the increase in speed from the last one to this one is really amazing.
I'm just wondering if they are using the GPU at all. That would be sweet if the guys here could take a look at it and do some speed tweaks. The next release of Snes first, but this is so promising!
GBA games on the PSP screen look soooo good. Check it out!!

Well... I've tested version 1.1... it runs better than 1.0... with sound... jerky, but nice progress

Hopefully, with the next release, the sound will be improved from the horrible noise it is now. Many games are playable, but slow. Although, some games are fun in slow-motion.

I admire the psp hackers for all they have done so far, but is it only me that can see that they are fighting a losing battle? Sony has corrected their mistakes and soon all the psp games will require you to update your system before playing it,which sucks but thats the way it is. aldercy www.entertainmentvenues.org

it seems to be a try or die process with snoy, but I am just wondering if that emulator just might be goo for rpgs, like pokemon, but not action games. if this is true, my friend would love it(even though he has two SPs, and one ds phat, and a lite )

Yeah tinnus is right... Have you been living under a rock? not only is gpSP optimized to run full speed on a 300mhz proccessor but with the new dinarecs it will now run almost every gba game full speed with nice filtering, no frameskip, cheat support, etc... I recomend the UO gpSP 3.2 kai 8.x because it has a few added features, bugfixes, and is more asthetically pleasing than exophase's gpSP .9 (although he is the original author so all credits go to him). There is a small catch you need the gba_bios.bin file. It should be rather easy to find though. DO NOT USE THE ONE YOU FIND BY GOOGLING "GBA BIOS.BIN" IT IS A BIOSes AND IS WORSE THAN THE REAL DEAL...
EDIT {LOL} THIS POST IS FROM 2005 WHEN GPSP DIDN'T EXIST... WHY IS IT STILL A RECENT TOPIC OF DISCUSSION?
