palm port list

Hi
i would like everyone to contribute to making a list of available game ports for the palmos.
Also if anyone knows of source codes that are opened please post a link in this thread.

Here are the ports thet i know of:
zdoomz
zhexen
zquake
all of the above support mods and work gr8 on my LD.
duke3d (sprites don't work for me although ppl claim it works )

Also i would like ppl to help make a list of emulators but please, i hav every system 32 bit and under (including gba) and i hav ppsx. im interested in info of something new eg. fully supported dos capable of running 3d games.

Anyway post your comments and if someone knows the source of some games (*ahem, diablo,half life*) mebbe we can get Yoyofr Tinnus or even Metaview to make a port.

i meant GOOD games. these r all 2d fighting and/or 2d point and click.
i mean 3d games- shooters rpg hack'n'slash (not zelda type i can hav that on emulators but diablo type)

I think Scumm VM is one of the best ports available on the Pocket PC/Palm market. And I still play Flashback using LJP, a great game. It's your loss if you can't give them a try.

You're free to express your opinion. You should have been more specific in the types of games you were looking for instead of saying you wanted to make a list of available game ports though if you didn't want those ports listed.

It's not that you can't express your opinion, the problem is how you do it. Like, instead of saying "I think XYZ is crap", you said "XYZ is crap" like if that was the opinion of everyone and that sounds a little rude.

I'm in no way wanting people not to express their opinions, but just try not to bash people's work.

hellfire by astraware
nothing compared 2 zdoom/quake/hexen duke 3d or the soon 2 come ppsx but definately worth a shot

There's GTS racing too (Astraware), in the pseudo-3D area. Not a port though.

hellfire-3rd person shooter ur in a helicopter

solskia-diablo style 3d rpg couldnt get it 2 work yet

also anyone know of a good powerpoint app that doesnt require pc installation?

sorry the actual name is Interstellar Flames. flames 3d is just the icon.
ppltry EDGE and Warfare incorporated. Definately the best palmos games ever!!!
however of cource yoyo's,Tinnus' and metaview's ports r betta.

About pPSX, it's running on PalmOS but a memory problem is causing a hard reset most of the times when you need to use UDMH...

(in programming terms: there's a buffer overrun somewhere that's overwriting some critical area in storage and thus corrupting the system. It then gets to a reset-loop the first time you reset it which is solvable only with a hard reset.)

This explanation says that it will be delayed... (I'm also a programmer, and I understand what means a buffer overrun... also, writing in critical areas from storage is in some way dangerous... like the dmage105's case => yoyofr.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1129674075)
