No, there are no codes or free commercial programs here. However, if you don't have money, or time, or (insert excuse here) to register, there is a free and legal way to get another trial period for any program. Every developer and most longtime palm users know about this method. But it is a pain, so few people will do it. That's right. Hard reset your palm. Notice I did not say to make a backup first. Because if you use a backup, you're right back where you started. You must reinstall every program from scratch. So please, no more whining for free registration, or codes, or whatever. Do a hard reset and clean install every week or month or just pay the money and buy the program. Good developers deserve to get paid, even those who DON'T charge for their programs! Donate!

Not that this is not a way to circunvent the trial proccess. Maybe not illegal, but doesn't sound too right though.
I'll leave this one go on, but I'll lock it if anyone talks about anything that's certainly illegal. (BTW veggie, beware of TALKING about it; might cause interest and discussion about it. PM anyone if you want...)

Tinnus - After seeing a recent post asking for codes, a post wanting a free equivalent to a commercial program, and someone else earlier giving instructions on how to "crack" a program, my intention was just to instruct newbies that this is not a forum to ask for codes or free registrations.
Seriously, the amount of time it would take to repeatedly hard reset, then reinstall every program, is certainly more than it takes to just earn the money to buy a program. Anyone who would do this: a) won't get any benefits that registered programs have, such as auto-enabling after resets, and customer support, etc., b) has way too much time on their hands. All of us have done hard-resets, followed by a restore from a backup. Could you imagine installing every program you've got on your palm back on it again without using a backup? Losing all the settings and saved games, re-entering registration information, categorizing, etc, etc.
Yes I've done it a few times, but not by choice: years ago when I had my first palm, when I had few programs, and I assumed the hotsync was also a backup (haha). I couldn't remember which programs I had on my palm and which shareware trial periods had ended. When I put some of those on, they worked again, however all progress was lost: high scores, game saves, etc. Not something I'd want to repeat.
Veggie - I know there's other ways, but in respectfully keeping with the board rules I have only posted the most difficult way, that anyone with dead batteries or a faulty program causing a hard reset could easily stumble upon by themselves.
Skaaj - thanks, now if the newbies will just read this thread before posting...
