Too tired to copy and paste. See here: www.emuboards.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=25739edit: Updated to version 0.2. Changes: - Fixed crash on exit - I'm not sure WTF I did, but it seems to be running more than 2x faster! At first it's slow but after some seconds it gets fast. Very weird. Also levels take a little longer to load and waterfalls don't animate

Wow, great piece of code. Works without UDMH on my T5, dont work without UDMH on zire71.
A bit fast to play with on T5, but works perfectfully.

Fast? How much FPS did you get on T5? Was it fullscreen?
I supposed it would need UDMH on a z71 because it has only 700k heap.

It's amazing the game run so fast because its "only" 22 fps. Anyway its a very good idea to have coded this port, its a good game we can play "fast" in transport metaview : you'r true.. i forgot to try fhr on the z71 i'll do this tomorrow

Hello... I got the registered version of Jazz Jackrabbit (remembering my old 486 days!!) well.. I need some advice here... I tried to run it with and without UDMH but everytime I tried to start it, I always get a message that reads: "MemoryMgr.c, Line:3752 NULL handle"
That's on my T5... thanxs in advice for the reply...
Well... I manage to run it... I just have to copy the OpenJazz Folder also on the Internal drive... you know... then the games works fine... as you said before, no sound... 320x480, 16 fps... it would be nice to add a landscape mode.... and also... an exit button ;D

Haha, yes, exit currenty is crashing anyway. Proper exiting is my main goal for 0.2 ;D

Thanks i'm so happy, i was scary to lose it... LD dont please me (too big), as well TX (too dark), so i was thinking about buying a pocket pc... *sigh* But driving topdown helps to take a look behind the car sits The T5 was in a place where is *normally* never can go...

The TX is too dark? I almost never use the brightest backlight setting, as it is too bright in my opinion...

BTW, you'll need to fix the location of files for devices with more than one card unit (In my case with T5 you have internal and the standard SD)... because I put the files on the SD, but I have crashes everytime I try to run it... but, when I copy the files on internal/palm/programs/OpenJazz the game works fine...

Does this happen with 0.1? Also does this happen with HOTA?
|
|
|
Post by wantan on Feb 3, 2006 17:32:02 GMT 1
No... HOTA runs fine... I was afraid that HOTA shares the same problem like OpenJazz, but no.

Try simply running the game multiple times until it works.

I just got the hand on the T|X for a customer who wanted me to configure it before sale. Its a really nice machine, Openjazz runs nice on it The only thing is the body color of the palm looks very fragile, scratch seem to come fast on it... and it very... black

hm, I have mine since a bit more than 2 month and no scratches yet. I don't have a case and have it always with me. It's a very nice device, really. Angel, you could buy one and paint the outside in a light gray :-)
