Good Homebrew Mp4aa Player

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good homebrew audio player I can use on ver. 1.5 to playback mp4aa (the apple ipod standard) on my PSP.

Yes, I do realize I could just convert the files to mp3 and be done with it, but I keep most of my files in mp4aa on my computer, and it would be really convenient if I could just drop them down onto my psp without having to change them.

You can use Pocket Tunes(comercial) or TCPMP(freeware). Also, TCPMP plays other formats and video.

Am I too assume then that there is no mp4a player that can be used on a FW 1.5 PSP?

Did you try google? I found the following two links on the first page of results for aac psp:

The first basicly tells you to change your file extension from m4a to aac and use Firmware rev 2.0.
The second appears to be a forum dedicated to aac on the PSP.

It appears to me that www.psp-hacks.com/ would be a good place to ask this question.

Sorry to dig up this thread again, but today I found an super multimedia player for the PSP.

It plays just about every audio and video format (with restrictions on the resolution).
