Been enjoying Open Jazz recently! Got me digging through all my old disks and cds. especially ID software collectors set, dangerous dave rocks!
Any plans for a Comander Keen port?! (especially 4, or was it 5...can't rember now!)
Or Halloween Harry?

Haha I'll second that request for Commander Keen! Don't know if it's possible but I'd love it! I still play it in windows and it's the primary reason I still fiddle around with VGMsound and DOSbox.
BTW 4 was my favorite.

Ker-ching $$$ clonekeen.sourceforge.net/An SDL port, I think only for Keen 1. This the kind of thing that might work? (I'm no programmer  ) Is it worth E-mailing 3d realms or ID for the source? (I'm thinking probably not, but it might work) |

I think this one will work. I'll take a look  You can always ask them, it doesn't hurt. But just don't get too excited. Oh, and keep finding SDL recreations of old games. It's fun to port these |

hahaha... maybe support for other comander keen's game series?... Wow... that's would be nice... hehee I still remember that ages... when you have to fight with emm386.exe, highmem.sys, buffers and files parameters in config.sys and variables set in autoexec.bat so you can get better load times, memory management, etc...  I miss you my dear SoundBlaster Pro 8-bit... with Talking Parrot... and my powerfull then 3dfx Voodoo 2... |

Oooh, all excited now! What could the something else be? Has tinnus found a way to emulate DOS on Palm?! ;D (I can dream...)

I loved playing Commander Keen. I remember having to turn the computer's turbo off so Keen wouldn't run way too fast. Ah, good times. |
