I red that there is quake 2, heretic 2 and other fps's for the amiga c64. However it says that they require AGA or a graphics board which in the read me it says the emu doesn't support. I'm wondering if AGA will ever be supported or if there's a way to run these games without it.

The latest PalmUAE claims to support AGA. MyUAE doesn't and will never. Maybe it will once support a gfx card, but that's not sure...

Thnx, i dloaded the kickstart file and quake II, and heretic II. however, they are in .hle format. Do u know if i can just rename them to .adf and run them with palmuae or will it not work?

I'm sure it will not work, and btw, the emus can hardly reach the speed of a A500 with sound, don't even expect more than a slow slideshow when trying games which requiere something like a m68030 or such.

Thnx. but i still want to try it even if it is a slideshow. what do i need to do to convert the .hle files to .adf or .hdf?

I think the file has no extension and windows auto-converts it to .hle.
edit: sry. it's not .hle its .lha

lha is a common archiv format for Amiga. Try google for that. There are windows apps which can handle it. BTW: Are you sure Hexen2 and Quake2 aren't PPC-only?

its heretic2 not hexen2. and quake 2. they're not for ppc they were made as a port for the amiga. i tried googling but couldn't find a converter. can myuae or pamuae support .lha files or do i need to find an app to convert them to .adf of .hdf? if i hav to convert them do u know of any apps that do this?
