Anybody ever have this problem with a Treo?

I know this is off topic, but I figure I may as well ask.

Every try to sync a Treo 650 or 600 and have the thing freeze? Mine freezes every time when syncing contacts. I think the contacts database is corrupt, but I don't know how to back it up or fix it. Trying to copy it to card with ZLaunch file manager crashes the Palm.

::)Never had that problem(nor a treo), but try to do this:

Option 1:

I think you can configure some settings about what would sync and what won't in the hotsync app in your palm: choose from menu "conduits configuration"(or something like this, I'm not using the English version) and deselect Contacts. Try to hotsync... If it crashes....
Delete your user on Palm desktop on your PC, and try to hotsync.

Option 2:

Using Resco explorer (you can get the demo atwww.resco.net/palm/explorer/downloads.asp) use the menu option Tools->Backup RAM. It will show the files to backup. De-select everything that has the contacts icon and select "next". Set the other settings as you like and click on "finish".
Then do a Hard reset and launch resco again (uh forgot to tell you to install it on the card )

Choose from menu Tools->Restore RAM and select the previous backup you did.


???BTW I've never been able to hotsync Ioneus, I don't know why, but I use a card reader to copy stuff to it and RescoExplorer to do backups...
